In week 10, Kindergarten were really well behaved at the K-2
Assembly. KH & KF won Barney for their great manners.
Both classes got to share Barney. Well Done! We hope
we can do it again.

On Thursday 13th September, Kindergarten went to Taronga Zoo. We travelled by bus to the zoo. On the way we saw lots of tall buildings. We crossed two bridges, The ANZAC bridge and The Harbour Bridge. When we arrived at the zoo we ate our recess. Then we began walking along all the different enclosures. We saw snakes, turtles, lizards, chimpanzees, seals, crocodiles, lions, tigers and gorillas. At lunch time we ate our lunch while watching “The Bird Show”. It was very enjoyable. We liked the cheeky owl. Our most favourite animals that we saw were the elephants, the koalas, the giraffes and the zebras. At the end of the day we were all very tired. Some of us slept on the bus on the way home. It was a brilliant day.

On Friday we performed our Assembly items “In a Dark, Dark, Wood” and “Hot Potato”. We were a bit nervous but we were happy to perform in front of all the students and parents.

Three weeks ago our class planted some bean seeds. Once we planted the bean seeds we placed them near the window, so they could get plenty of sunlight. We watered them every day. First they grew roots then the following week they grew a stem and leaves. Now they have grown very tall.
